About The Project

Our clients wanted to update their traditional kitchen to reflect a “less is more” aesthetic. The existing walk-in pantry and walls were removed to gain sufficient space to add a new island. This change eliminated the existing peninsula and created open movement between the kitchen and adjacent dining room. A curvaceous, thermofused, art glass countertop was added to the new island. A rift cut walnut flat slab door front was selected for its natural beauty and simplicity. Commercial style “L” shaped glass doors were incorporated into a tall display case to showcase the client’s object d’art. A custom television lift designed and fabricated by Nathan Kushner was added to the adjoining living room to compliment. New ash hardwood floors were added throughout the main floor to maintain consistency. Working collaboratively with our clients, the result was a one-of-a-kind kitchen suited to their particular needs, that emulated their love of the culinary arts and entertaining.
